More Child Obestity and some Links

It’s been awhile since I did a round up of good reading in the blogosphere, so I thought I’d give that a shot today. Before I get started, I would like to add to yesterday’s Tips on Dealing With Child Obesity. I don’t know how I forgot to add this, but one of my favorite commercials is from a local company Kaiser Permanente’s Kid Wisdom. Give it a watch below:

If you liked that, you might want to see the child actor, Pete Wiggins on Ellen:

Enough of these videoes, let’s look at some links that I liked this week (since I’ve been away, some of the posts are a little older):

Deflabbify Got a perfect score on Wii Fit Soccer Ball Heading. I think there’s a 2-inch stack of dust on my Wii Fit. It’s sad, but we just don’t use it as much as we should. On a side note, I hope that Deflabbify posts more often…

Fit36 has Hit a Fitness Plateau. I had hit that with the 100 pushups as well. The 100 pushups stopped being fun and started being work.

Fat Man Unleashed has a comic that I found interesting… Pushups: Another Reason to Not Email Anyone

J.D. at Get Fit Slowly writes about a A 12-Year-Old Burger from McDonalds. I found this amazing.

Jim refers to a list of 10 Things That Are Surprisingly Good For You. Included on the list are topics like pornography, smoking, and beer. Surprising indeed, but we already knew beer is a healthy drink.

Sports and Cooking says, “don’t be too lazy, it’s unhealthy, maybe even lethal. Yep, I’ll come hunt you done for impersonating me.

WeightLadder asks, Is Grazing a Good Idea? I say yes. It’s a lot better than overeating all at once.
