I love HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training). Apparently it keeps your metabolism elevated much longer than low-intensity work.

High intensity interval training has always been the best way to burn fat, but it's a little harder than long slow mileage on a treadmill while you watch the babble box so people don't like to take part in it.

Another great way to lose weight along the same vein is to mix HIIT with weight training, especially when you superset two exercises that hit unrelated muscle groups and stick to exercises that work more than one muscle group at a time. Alwyn Cosgrove writes about such topics frequently.

a buddy of mine is always telling me this. he says that i should do sprints instead of jogging, but the thing is i love jogging. I guess its time to add some more variety to my workouts.
