My Exercise Matrix

Last week, I graded my exercise, but I wasn’t happy with the system that I had in place. Giving myself a grade is a little too subjective for me to quantify. Instead of grading myself from A+ to F, I’m going with 0-98 (nobody is perfect, right) as shown in the table below. Across the x-axis, I have the number of times that I went to the gym (I’m a believer that you can go everyday as long as you plan it right). The y-axis is the level of effort I put in while I’m there. If I go 4 times a week and put in average effort (4), I’ll score a 32. I think that’s what I should aim for. And since I’m just getting started, a 3×3 score of 18 a more realistic target.
