Back From Vacation, Work To Do (and Some Health Links)

I’m back from vacation and my Wii Fit was not very happy with me. I haven’t taken a body test in 8 days and its wondering where I have been. Worse yet, I gained 5 pounds. That wasn’t a surprise considering all the steak bombs I had while on vacation. I think the little cartoon Wii board character is going to attack me in my sleep.

I’m getting back on track though. Instead of my average lunch, I replaced it with two smaller “lunches” today. The first “lunch” was a whey protein shake and and apple. The second “lunch” was another whey protein shake. I’m going to try to get to two a day while if I’m home during the day. For dinner, I’m going to be a little worse and have a cheeseburger (no bun) and some baked beans. I need to add a veggie to that and I haven’t decided what it is going to be yet.

Onto the links:
Importance of Breaking Routine & Monotony - Jim write that you simply can’t continue to do the same thing over and over again. It gets boring and you won’t want to stick with it.

Giving Up Soda, Diet Cola, Pop, Mountain Dew, Coke, And Pepsi - NCN is giving up soda… wow. I tried that for about 2 days and failed miserably. The thing is that I used to never drink soda as a kid. However, now I can’t seem to find good flavored alternatives.

Ruptured Peroneus Longus Tendon - Weight Ladder had a set back in his quest to lose weight. With an injured ankle for as long as 6 months his exercise options will be limited.

Seeing is Believing with WeightView - Fat Man gives a review of WeightView. I’ll have to give it a shot.
